Yeah, you should think of us as an equivalent to Shorefast, which was set up 20-odd years ago in Fogo Island by Zita Cobb.

Uh, and we're there to protect the four towns of Burgeo, Ramia, Grey River, and Francois, uh, and to bring investment dollars in to create an economically based development plan, uh, with conservation at the heart of it.

Now, I know Lake is a south coast name.

Mm-hmm.

And when that fell apart, I, I decided that it was time to have individuals step up and foundations to protect that area and kind of recreate what they did and, and maybe at some point in time it comes back.

Okay.

So talk a little bit about your vision for how communities like Burgeo, Ramia, Grey River, and Francois can build sustainable economies but also capitalize on those beautiful natural assets that you have.

Yeah.

We've offered solutions to make sure that work can be addressed, whether it's a private contractor or not.

It is completely unacceptable, and I, I, I've requested a meeting with the communities who are affecting that area in my district, Burgeo, Ramea, and Grey River, um, to discuss what steps we will take next to make sure that we bring that voice to the government because I don't know if they're trying to tell us one thing to keep us silent, but I can tell you right now that I won't be silent anymore, the people of my district won't be silent anymore, and we will do whatever we can to make sure the government listens to us and get these issues addressed immediately.

It is unacceptable.

And in fairness, this, uh, this road didn't fall apart in the last year, uh, since the Tories were, became government.
