I will, if with barely any prompting, argue that like Gremlins 2 is one of the smartest movies that has ever been made.

I don't completely disagree with you.

I think it, I think it was great that it knew exactly what it was doing.

Yeah.

Went into it.

It Gremlins two, they literally said, okay, let's go, but we're doing it our way.

And guess what? You guys took this first one way too seriously.

So there you go.

[upbeat music] Now, there are a lot of movies that have influenced Fallout over the years, but one of them that you may not realize, at least in this Wild Wasteland reference, is the Gremlin movies, Gremlins and Gremlins 2.

And if you remember these films from the 1980s, oh, they, they messed me up as a kid.

I was young enough to have seen these, and I probably was too young because in my little child mind, those gremlin puppets were gross and kind of me- menacing, especially in the second one when Stripe gets wet and his back bubbles up and all the little baby gremlins pop out.

But also, there's more to it because you can find a chicken leg on the ground in front of the doghouse.

Now, feeding one of the mogwais, the good gremlin version, after midnight is what causes them to mutate into the evil gremlins, and this is clearly a reference to those movies.

So there you go, Gremlins movies, a tiny little death claw all wrapped up together with chicken.
