And knowing that They've brought in, rather than just signing an actual, if you like, I'm going to say a professional left back that can do a good job, they've actually brought in a young boy who's 18, to be Chelsea, who's actually no fit.

so he actually can't get the bench just because he's still no fit because he had an injury which is why the transfer never went through as quickly as it should have done from the time it was first announced in the newspaper to him actually signing a dotted line because they had to go through the scenario with the medical checks and all the rest of it on this injury and how long it was going to take and yet two hours up and then the third to compound that even more you've got to play skills at left back which we've seen that with our own eyes how that goes and it's not hard to scale because he would play in any position for you that's the kind of guy he is which is fair enough but what I don't get is we're talking about this two hours up the road you've got a guy called Ferry if he did the United and he could have come in and done that role like a kind of Greg Taylor going a few years back he'd have done that role day in day out with no problem whatsoever and I'd have thought fitted into the team for not a lot of money

well apart from wages and throwing money at him but why would they leave Dundee United to be Katie's understudy Unless we're putting him in a bracket like a Luke McInerney.

Do you get what I mean by that? He's playing every week with United.

Now, Scales out on the left, and I don't know what you think about this from an analytical point of view, but to me and the guy, Liam, sitting next to me last night, it just felt like Scales had absolutely no positional awareness at times.

Like, you're, like, shouting, "Where's Scales?" When they're breaking down the right, uh, you're like, "Where's Scales?" And then he's, like, running back 'cause he's been in the middle of the park, like, going into, like, some sort of inverted role or whatever, like, thinking he needs to play like Greg Taylor.

Um, and if he was up for a corner or something like that, he's not going back into position, into the left back position straight away.

It's almost like his natural instinct's to go back through the middle to go back to center half.

But I thought St Mirren did it and they were successful in spells with it on.

Saturday night as you said there was probably a few times we almost capitalised on it and could have got easy goals but it wasn't necessarily the case the penalty I just don't understand it says on here Scales is still an issue I don't care whether he's at centre half or left back it's really silly now I know he gave away one for handball at Easter Road last season this was much worse than that because as you say when that shot's hit Liam Scales is standing looking at it coming towards him with his hands behind his back and I was like you I was like there's no way this could be a handball because his hands are behind his back and then inexplicably he raises his left hand and you're like what are you doing like it makes no sense and I thought Scales was on the other place again I know like people say oh he made up for it scored the goal but those times in that first half those one pass in particular I cannae mind the exact minute here where I say it's the reason why the fact we didn't get a left back is a joke or a fit left back in the transfer window is a joke because I just think he's so poor passing there was one where he tried to pass it back to Cameron Carter Vickers and I think Vickers was in the centre circle and he somehow managed to play it about 10 yards behind the centre circle it was such a poor pass and I think that's what I showed as I say lacking there and that's what I've and I know people say when Allo's going to come in and Latomba can play either side there's got to be better options and him at left back I say that's the difference when Tierney's not there it's so noticeable how poor we are in that area and I think that was sort of shown when there was rumours coming about last week saying that we were I'm a big fan of Greg Taylor but the fact we were sort of panicking and trying to get him back on loan I think that sort of showed how much work we still had today in the transfer window aye I just thought it was poor and like I say he did score in the second half it's a really good header and I can maybe give credit to the wee guy we got in from Hearts as the set-piece coach I think somebody says that's three goals from set-pieces in eight games we've had now so if you're scoring every other game pretty much from a set piece then he's probably in there earning his keep so good to see that and I thought we were decent enough I thought we were so dangerous in the sort of wide areas in the first half Yang's been brilliant and again I was delighted that he got another goal because I think he's just become so vital in this team and that's doing a really good bit of hard work from him since he was almost sent to Birmingham last year like he he really knuckled down and I say this on here on Friday the fact that he's going to be such a big loss for the next sort of four weeks is testament to how well he has sort of turned his Celtic career around and Hassan it was weird I seen he seemed to sort of split opinion on Twitter and wherever people were talking about the game I thought he was very effective and people kept saying he had an AM product I thought he put a sort of unlimited amount of good balls into the box that I know he wasn't but if Kasper who was there you've got to think he'd have ate a few of them up and scored a good few of them I thought he was very effective I thought he could cut in his left foot and he got to the byline plenty as well it sort of reminded me of when we had Aidan McGeady in the team where in that first half especially I thought a lot of the time that our midfielders our defenders got the ball they would just get it to his hand and sort of look for him to make something happen so I think he's getting better every week and I did say that I think he needs a goal or something to sort of just get people on board I think a lot of people are already on board myself included I think he's been really good but if he can get that first goal or another couple assists and I think people just got off his back a bit and let him sort of flourish on this team but no I thought I thought we played well and once we were in the lead I wasn't overly worried that we'd concede again I thought we'd done well enough what I would say as much as Scales is obviously to blame for the penalty it's sort of come from Sinisalo palming a shot out that was going two or three yards wide and I think sort of a better reading of that situation just avoids a corner that leads to the penalty in the first place so again I says it on here I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Johnson's in goals in the next sort of couple of weeks but be interesting to see how the manager approaches that if he does want to bring him in obviously I thought there was a bit of a pretty massive drop off when we brought on Forrest and Taneck we were at our most dangerous in the wide areas in the sort of first hour of the game and there was a real drop off when you brought the A2 on thought that Shim when he came on played really well was unlucky to see his goal ruled out that That, for me, was the worst decision of the night.

The Duran one, I don't think it was offside, but at least they did show some sort of line.

The fact that that shim goal got disallowed, if they kind of draw the lines, then I think you just have to go with the linesman's view, because you're asking a referee to guess, and...
