Greg Swindell

If I have a bowl of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla, the best ice cream in the country...

I got a friend, Greg Swindell, that thinks Tillamook is...

Tillamook is fine, but it's not Blue Bell.

Anyway, Blue Bell's made at a little creamery in Brenham, Texas, northeast of Houston, and I don't do it every day, but I like to do it.

Joe Girardi hits a two-run homer.

Greg Swindell with a home run.

Chuck Raines, two on.

So four out of five of the Struck Out Club has hit a home run.

There are a lot of people in what I call the greater Houston region.

If somebody says, so we had a party the other night for Greg Swindell, who's moved back to Houston, and Doug Drabeck was there.

And I commented that I didn't realize he lived in Houston.

And somebody that was at the party said, well, I thought it was Magnolia.

Derrick Bell hit his 14th, a two-run home run.

Joey Hamilton against Greg Swindell.

[upbeat music] Tonight, Atlanta's in Colorado, Greg Maddux and Lance Painter.

The Mets are in Philadelphia, Jason Hakami against Fernando Valenzuela.

Well, I will tell you, uh, it's not a mattress, it's a Z-Cliner.

But Greg Swindell loves his Z-Cliner.

He posts pictures about it.

And I go by and see my dad every day, and he absolutely loves his Z-Cliner.

Oh my goodness, she is a showstopper.

Greg Swindell told me that when he was in high school...

Now think about this, Swindell's 61 years old, so 45 years ago.

He said, "When I was in high school, I had the biggest crush on her." And she's still gorgeous to this day, still gorgeous.

She's also married to the devilishly handsome and incredibly talented former shortstop for the University of Texas Longhorn baseball program, who happened to go on to a second career of some note as a prominent heart surgeon in this town named Mike Sweeney, who's one of my favorite people in the whole wide world.

[bell dinging] And Mike Sweeney's son is a prominent, uh, ear, nose, and throat hearing expert who I am currently trying...

Mike's trying to get him to do this, or we're trying to get this coordinated, but, um, I'm currently trying to get him to see, um, Greg Swindell.

Because you have to talk to Greg Swindell like this.

San Diego at Houston.

Hamilton against Swindell.

The 0-2 is hit up the middle and through to center field for a base

hit from Mattingly.

At the end of one, San Diego leads the Astros 3-0.

Derrick Bell hit his 14th, a two-run home run.

Joey Hamilton against Greg Swindell.

Tonight, Atlanta's in Colorado.

All right.

Swindell's mom's first name is T-O-N-I-I.

Now, how would you think that's supposed to be pronounced? Well, Toni-ih.

It'd be Toni-ih.

[buzzer] Yeah, n- You can't say no if that's the w- how the woman's name's pronounced.

So let me do this again.

Happy 85th birthday to Tawny Dammer, Greg Swindell's mother and Sarah Swindell's mother-in-law.

Happy 85th birthday, sweetheart.

There is so much confusion about people that want to continue working about when exactly to sign up.

I was told by all my friends that I'm going to get fined.

and things of that nature um you know and that's that is very that's it's kind of hard to get fined to be honest with you and so there and there's times where you don't want to sign up because you'll be spending money unnecessarily so we hash through all that stuff figure out where they want to go and help match them with something that's appropriate for them based on what their preferences are and we when we get paid we don't like you said earlier we don't donate all of our time, obviously.

We get paid, but we get paid by these insurance companies when we're able to help.

But that's that's up to you.

So it's really just kind of burning through.

We got the well-meaning friends, man.

They love us.
