So we had Len Stillman, John Fanning, myself, a whole lot of other guys that were already from the under-19s that we'd played with the year before.

So the reserves that year coached by Greg Sewell had a really good team of guys that were together.

And even though all year we trained with the seniors, you'd then... you know get separated off into the reserves but you trained together but you didn't actually feel part of the team yeah um so I'd played we'd won we'd finished on top I think in the reserves so had the seniors we'd played the second semi yeah I kicked one goal six or something in the reserves.

My Strathmore footy coach got me aside and gave me a whole lot of stuff that I should have been doing or could have been doing and I've forgotten all of it by the time I got to the following week.
