So if a kid was to join the Savers, what exactly would they do?

We actually teach them drill.

We teach them how to become leaders, so the possibility of them becoming a non-commissioned officer, and that helps later on in life.

We also have pathways for them to join one of the ADF services if they so choose.

We also have pathways to help them become police officers if they want to.

And we also work with them for those that want to, once they turn 18, to be part of one of the emergency services like the Shepparton Search and Rescue, SES and CFA.

It's probably not just this, is it, I imagine?

No.

Like, this could be three different movies depending on how you and Daniel wanted to take it.

Man, really, like, that's the evolution of the film, what you're describing.

'Cause when you just put it all together and watch it, it does feel like, wait, is it this movie now? And you're really trying to minimize that as much as possible, which again, I think if you make a movie about a character who lives in a plot and not a plot that has a character in it, and everything has to be honest to him, and we wanted this to be really grounded.

Like, there's some ungrounded stuff going on here.

We wanted it to feel grounded.

So I'll give you a couple concrete examples of places where the tone got a little zig-zaggy and how we fixed it.

So initially, the first scene after the opening montage where the titles are was Nicky getting his ears blown out by a bell at a school that they were working at.

For you, how do you start to approach how you want to try and get the audience in the head of Nikki from a sound design standpoint?

He's not familiar with my work.

Uh, Daniel is, uh, he does not watch a lot of TV.

And as of late, I've been doing a lot of TV.

I think he did go back and watch girlfriend experience and the report and some other stuff that I had done to get a sense, but it was an agency introduction.

We're both repped at UTA.

So the thing, it was kind of like, you guys should know each other.

This could be exciting.

And so I would love to learn more about that specific safe cracking moment.
