No, I was okay that they kept him.

I was, if, I thought he was really just gonna be organizational depth, where you get a couple of guys that were gonna turn into Tarik Skubal, or will turn into Paul Skeens, or will turn on, turn into, you know, Jose Ramirez, or whatever it happens to be.

Whatever they pull, whatever you trade guys for that are nonsense little, like ... single A guys turn into big trade pieces, 'cause that's how the Dodgers work.

But I, I thought that it, I was, I'm fine that he's here and I was, I would've been fine if he was gone.

Uh, have you seen that? Are you kinda buying that sort of, um, emerging narrative?

How did you end up at broadcasting camp, Berg?

So I don't...

It was just something that I wanted to get into broadcasting, so they had these camps down in Long Beach.

And it was...

They were awesome.

Like, you went down there, you listened, you, you, uh, you sat in front of a, a tele- a teleprompter.

You would go to Angels games and, and broadcast an Angels game with a, a partner.

Um, I would put, absolutely put Yoshinobu Yamamoto in there.

He is, in every sense of the word, the ace of this staff, and I know Shohei is pitching and he had that below one ERA for quite some time, but Yoshinobu Yamamoto is the best pitcher on this staff, and I don't, I don't think it's really debatable.

I mean, maybe you can try to, but I think you'd be wrong if you did try to debate it.

All right, Greg, what, what did you think about the officiating in this game?

So I, I don't have actually that much of a problem with the officiating.

I know everybody was mad about it, and I know that JJ was mad about it, and Austin was screaming about it later on.

But it was pretty much going both ways.

I don't, I didn't look at that, watch that game and say, "Oh my God, the refs were the reason that the Lakers lost." I looked at that game and said the reason that the Lakers lost was because the OKC Thunder are b- just better than them.

Like, the things that could've gone, all of the big time plays where they had to go challenge with the, with the challenges, they all went the Lakers' way.

And I understand people are gonna be upset, like, "How could you not say the, the refs were that bad?" I, it just feels like it's, like it's, not, I don't wanna say lazy, but that wasn't the game to me.

Yeah, that's the problem
