Greg Bahnsen

Well, my background is kind of in, in a couple phases sequentially.

I, I was born, um, as the son of a renowned Christian intellectual who, of course, was my father but was also my hero and mentor, um, the late Dr. Greg Bahnsen.

And so I was raised as a believer, Joe, and, and I've never known a time, uh, that I didn't know Christ as my savior, and was also raised with the sort of distinctives of not only reformed theology, uh, biblical apologetics, but this notion of what we refer to as a Christian worldview.

I was raised, uh, by my father to think like a Christian, and, and I've tried my best to, to maintain that.

I, I was 20 years old and he was 47 when, when he passed, and so I've gone through the bulk of my adult life without him physically and earthly present, but I have not gone in my adult life without him present in the sense of how he raised me and the influence he had on me, uh, as a father, as a friend, and, and as a Christian thinker.

And so that's really my, my background and why my professional interest, my vocational calling in finance is so intertwined with, uh, much of what we do.

People say it to me almost on a daily basis.

And what my background is, kind of in a couple of phases sequentially.
