If they signed Rimpanin or Ribkin, it doesn't have to be Rimpanin, or, or Sciole or Flores for that matter, um, it just makes things complicated and we'll talk about that as well later.
Jesse CohenHOST

"Some of those Reign players are going to the Swamp Rabbits, I believe." Yes.
Jesse CohenHOST
10:54

Um, well, as with everything, money's a factor here.
Eddie GarciaHOST
26:19
to move the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, which is the Kings ECHL affiliate, somewhere to California.
Eddie GarciaHOST
26:26
Certainly that takes money.
Eddie GarciaHOST
26:28
And then most of the teams in the ECHL are in the East.
Jesse CohenHOST

Two goaltenders signed to AHL contracts.
Jesse CohenHOST
61:03
They will likely start the season with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
Jesse CohenHOST
61:08
I don't know why Owen Flores was the one at camp and Matias Scholl was not.
Jesse CohenHOST
61:14
My hunch is that Matias Scholl is a known quantity to the LA Kings.
Eddie GarciaHOST
19:22
I still think he's a couple years away from maybe being a top six forward.
Eddie GarciaHOST
19:27
And then there are the forwards who are guys that are just hoping maybe they could make a roster spot for the Reign, maybe they get assigned to the Kings' ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
Eddie GarciaHOST
19:37
Uh, names like Lane Petersen, Ryan O'Hara, Jan Jenik, and Brendan Gorman.
Eddie GarciaHOST
19:44
Up next, we'll look at the Kings training camp defensemen and goalies, give you an idea of who they are, who's gonna make the team, who could be battling for a roster spot, and who will be in the minor leagues.
MattmanHOST
27:50
yes.
NineHOST
27:51
But what is a swamp rabbit? Like, what is that whole deal? Enough to where we have to call our hockey team Swamp Rabbits.

Here's all the tenets from various times.
Jesse CohenHOST
37:57
You have the gym, you have the trainers, you have the nutritionists, you have access to the full complement of King's organizational stability.
Jesse CohenHOST
38:05
Whereas you go to the Swamp Rabbits, I don't know what the Swamp Rabbits schedule looks like, but if you happen to go during a period of time where they're not playing that much, now you're playing against guys who are getting paid a couple hundred bucks a week.
Jesse CohenHOST
38:18
You don't have immediate access to the development staff, to the goaltending department.
Jesse CohenHOST
38:24
You're out on a sort of island in the middle of South Carolina.
Jesse CohenHOST
40:36
And then in net, Matias Scholl and Owen Flores are signed.
Jesse CohenHOST
40:39
And those guys, barring injury, I mean, that's where it even gets even more complicated goaltender-wise.
Jesse CohenHOST
40:46
Not terribly complicated because obviously Matias Scholl and Owen Flores aren't going to stop not going to block anybody from playing but realistically the kings have seven defensemen across three levels of goaltending now shoal and flores can't play for the kings but they can play for the rain and they can play for the greenville swamp rabbits so you have kemper and forsberg in la slukinski george and portillo maybe in ontario and then shoal and flores for the swamp rabbits like i said if slukinski george or portillo gets sent down to greenville for a conditioning stint the presence and existence of shoal flores are not going to prevent them from getting playing time in greenville but greenville by way of ontario has already filled their goaltending spots like those are the goaltenders for greenville and i don't know about the rest of greenville's roster and frankly i'm not familiar enough with how the echl roster is full is filled i know there are guys who are on echl deals but Those guys are on AHL contracts.
Jesse CohenHOST
41:47
They can come up to the AHL.
