Last week, I did a checkup on some players who shined, uh, that finished the season with Low-A Delmarva.

Today, let's kind of move up the ladder a little bit and start with the High-A Frederick Keys, who unfortunately did lose in their semifinal round playoff series in the South Atlantic League to the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the Pirates' High-A affiliate.

Keys won the first game by a lot, then lost games two and three back at home to be eliminated from the playoffs after, you know, their first year back as an Orioles affiliate having by far the best season.

You could argue they were probably the, the best minor league team in all of minor league baseball this year.

So we'll cover all things Glendale Desert Dogs over the next month or so.

And then the Greensboro Grasshoppers made it to the ship.

They just could not get it done.

But what a season for our high affiliate down in Greensboro.

i know we're not making the playoffs this year and and there's a lot of anger and frustration around that at the big league level but i think you can be really excited if you're really diving into the prospects and and the four affiliates there's a lot at every level it's gotten very deep for the pirates

let's get this over with real quick because nobody wants to talk about a loss in a championship But the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the best team in all of the Pirate system, 82-50, lost to the Winston-Salem Dash.

The high-A affiliate for the White Sox Tuesday elimination game lost 2-0.

Well, we just watched the final championship game of our local minor league baseball team.

It just so happened that the South Atlantic League championship series was between the Greensboro Grasshoppers, our home team, and the Winston-Salem Dash.

Winston-Salem is the city where Amy works.

So it was a crosstown rivalry game.

Unfortunately, the Grasshoppers lost, and so we got to see the Winston-Salem Dash celebrating almost like they had won a championship or something like that.

Whatever happened to the Greensboro Bats?

Yes, the tripod is back and we're on schedule on time.

That does unfortunately mean that the baseball team, the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the team in which I work for, did lose in the championship series.

It's sad because I wanted a ring and fellas, it was the only way that I would ever be able to get a ring through a professional sporting activity because sure as shit, I'm not going to going to be out there as a

athlete doing that but

Uh, they won 15 to eight.

It didn't go exactly like how they had it drawn up, but they managed to pull through and [lip smack] hit some home runs and, uh, capitalize on a lot of mistakes by the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

And, uh, we have, I know Jeff Cohen, who was at the game today.
