I'm from, um, Greenfield, Wisconsin.

Okay.

Um, and now I'm in suburbs of Milwaukee.

Well, I, I think it's a few things.

I think, you know, m- my district is, is Greendale, Hills Corners, about, you know, a little more than half of Greenfield, and then, uh, a part of the city of Milwaukee, and a small part of, of Franklin.

And it's a true 50/50 swingy district.

Uh, t- two years ago, Tammy Baldwin and Kamala Harris won with about 51% of the vote, and Bob Donovan won re-election really narrowly, uh, w- by about 2%.

Mm-hmm.

But they also, they're fed up with paying higher and higher property taxes.

And, you know, Whitnall School District in my district, which is, it covers Hills Corners and, and part of Greenfield, just did, uh, a referendum a couple years ago, and it wasn't an operating referendum.

It was to build a new pool, but then also to fix very basic deferred maintenance issues.

Yeah, I don't think I had plans to do that.

Uh, I grew up in Greenfield, Wisconsin, outside of Milwaukee, and, uh, a pretty normal, uh, childhood.

Nothing super remarkable about that.

And when I started attending school at the University of Wisconsin was when I really kinda had some thoughts around my career.

Greenfield's mayor is asking the Police and Fire Commission to remove Police Chief Jay Johnson, who is on paid leave as he faces four felony charges.

Allegedly, Johnson took and installed an apartment pole camera to watch his personal residence in Wind Lake.
