Green Sea

You know, I talk about my CFI on this show like there was only one of them, but there were several.

I trained at small FBOs across two states, Conway, South Carolina, Grand Strand up in North Myrtle Beach, a grass strip at Green Sea, and Cape Fear Aviation in North Carolina.

That was the one with the tree line.

Every one of those places taught landings differently because every one of those places landed differently.

The beach gave me crosswinds.

Green sea gave me grass.

Cape Fear gave me a short paved runway with obstacles at the end.

And you know what? People told me that if I could land there, I could land anywhere.
