it's the exact opposite of my life experience which is fascinating right and it's it was something that uh yeah i can't quite uh explain i will say my my father you know it makes a little bit more sense in terms of like why i uh let's just say buck the system to a certain extent as much as i have uh and naturally did in terms of my instinct and and as i mentioned before the so anyway the point just to answer your question i wouldn't encourage my mom to watch this film because i legitimately it would affect her in a way that really is she's she wouldn't gain anything from it you know honestly i think other than to be disturbed you know and morally disturbed and that makes sense i mean all the sense in the world if you see the level of perversion throughout the film i mean orgies right at one point outside the green man in i believe was the name of the the end but yeah um yeah so i will say be beware you know it's like something that i mentioned in the past is is is we need to be aware of what we expose ourselves to in terms of these pop culture reference points and and i do think that uh you know there is definitely a subconscious impact that whether you're acknowledging it or not is what obviously creates the conscious factor uh that hopefully will allow you to defend against the negative impact, because I think that's what matters a lot is when you can't exactly, you know, just let's just say you can't put into words or express exactly what you believe is potentially happening as far as the way in which the film could affect you or a pop cultural exposure, you know, to anything, honestly.
A

could ultimately affect you just as far as the investigative research that we do so very often.

And the level of just, I mean, I know people who won't even engage in the news cycle at this point because they often feel entirely demoralized and that that is the purpose behind it.

And basically, what's interesting is that, you know, I believe as well, it's important to realize the fact that, you know, the innkeeper's daughter, and this is the Green Man Inn, again, which is interesting in itself, and I think is a nod to the Luciferian tradition.

Um, but also Robin Hood being part of that kind of folklore, um, starts to emerge as a direct kind of, uh, unconscious response of a, a balancing, a balance with, um, the kind of the injustice that's occurring.
The Real Robin Hood

But the mischief, the wearing of green, being part of the fairy people, living in the woods, And the connection with May Day, which Robin Hood then became associated with, has led some scholars to wonder if Robin Hood wasn't just a mythological character who was a twisted version of Robin Goodfellow.
E
61:19Eva SchubertHOST
Other scholars have wondered if he might not be linked to other older pagan figures like the Green Man.
E
61:24Eva SchubertHOST
And this is an ancient pre-Christian figure, something to do with the spirit of the woods.
E

However, the court records, the royal payment records, and the other documents we have from the 1200s and 1300s don't suggest that people at the time thought that the name Robin Hood referred to anything other than an actual flesh-and-blood person, someone whose property was confiscated or who was living as an outlaw.
