Justin AcriHOST
I don't want to be too hard here as we transition into Division II, but they went to class, they studied up, and then they failed the test.
Justin AcriHOST
Henderson State undefeated, taking on Harding, who has looked vulnerable at times, but not a very competitive game on Saturday between these two titans, or so we thought, I guess, in the GAC.
Clint ConqueGUEST
Well, that shows you the separation between the top two or three teams in America and the 15th ranked team in America, particularly at home.
Clint ConqueGUEST
Big home crowd.
Clint ConqueGUEST
And then Henderson's right behind them at ninth, so it could come down to that game.
Justin AcriHOST
I didn't look at the matchup this week, Coach.
Justin AcriHOST
You know, what's the game of the week in the GAC?
Clint ConqueGUEST
I didn't look, to be honest with you.
Clint ConqueGUEST
Couldn't stop him.
Clint ConqueGUEST

Clint ConqueGUEST
That could be for a playoff berth.
Justin MooreHOST
They're, they're in the top, bottom five, I should say.
David BazzelHOST
Uh, also, Roger, big game in the, uh, Great American Conference between Harding, 6 and 0, and Henderson State, 6 and 0.
Roger ScottHOST
Yeah.
David BazzelHOST
So I'm sure Rex will be, uh, recapping that one.
Roger ScottHOST
Fine, Dan.
Chris KaneGUEST
How about some, how about some Great American Conference schools who got it done over the weekend? Congrats to Ouachita Baptist, 49-14 over Southern Nazarene.
Chris KaneGUEST
Let's hear it for Harding coming back.
Roger ScottHOST
Let's hear it for the B-
Forrest SchultzGUEST
Um, but yeah, I was fortunate.
Forrest SchultzGUEST
I was fortunate to coach in a s- tough golf league, I think, in Division II in the Great American Conference.
Forrest SchultzGUEST
Luke Calcaterra came out of there.
Forrest SchultzGUEST
He's in North Texas now.
Justin AcriHOST
Mm.
Clint ConqueGUEST
That will probably be for the Great American Conference title.
Clint ConqueGUEST
It's in Searcy.
Clint ConqueGUEST
So if both of those programs aren't looking ahead, uh, this week, that'll be a big game in Searcy in two weeks.
Clint ConqueGUEST
But guess what's in two weeks? Harding hosts Henderson State.
Clint ConqueGUEST
That will probably be for the Great American Conference title.
Clint ConqueGUEST
It's in Searcy.
Clint ConqueGUEST
So if both of those programs aren't looking ahead this week, that'll be a big game in Searcy in two weeks.
Chris KaneGUEST
And also Henderson State beat Southern Arkansas.
Chris KaneGUEST
So all Arkansas matchups in the GAC this
David BazzelHOST
week.
David BazzelHOST
Yeah.
Tommy RezachHOST
Now, you were at the school where our own head coach was before, Southeastern Oklahoma State, the Savage Storm in lovely Durant, Oklahoma.
Tommy RezachHOST
You came on board there in 2022, recruited by the staff who was there at the time, and three good years of playing there, all Great American Conference in 2024.
Tommy RezachHOST
What was kind of your motivation in following Coach Fenwick once again?
Victor Taylor Jr.GUEST
So, coming in as a freshman, learned a lot with the staff.
