Oh wow.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.HOST
67:42
That's awesome.
Andy SavageHOST
56:39
Must have been 360 for that one.
Andy SavageHOST
56:41
um yeah 360 uh so this was like a dlc set in the same time as gda4 more of the good stuff but you play as the lost bikers gang i haven't played this but i had mates that played it and they're like yeah that was cool it was more of the same but you play as like there's a biker gang you deal with during gda4 and so you play from their point of view and do missions for them and that kind of stuff apparently apparently it's quite good Also in 2001, we get a very shift of pace from Grand Theft Auto to Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS.
Andy SavageHOST
57:15
And then it later came to the PSP, the Android iOS 5 OS.
Andy SavageHOST
57:19
Did you play this one, Gabrielle?
AlexHOST
78:53
While the first party offerings left a little something to be desired, the amount of unique games that launched from third parties on the DS is unmatched.
AlexHOST
79:00
I mean, hello, Professor Leighton, Castlevania, Porno in the Browser and GTA Chinatown Wars.
AlexHOST
79:07
Now this I like.
AlexHOST
79:09
I love the DS and I'll love to hear what Jim thinks about it.
Matt StormHOST
31:03
It was trying to carve its own path.
Matt StormHOST
31:04
And I think That was also the strength of this console is it allowed some devs to kind of take risks or try different things or even think about like Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars, which played more like the old Grand Theft Autos than the new ones.
ChrisGUEST
31:16
Daxter was a Jak and Daxter game.
ChrisGUEST
31:19
It was supposed to bridge Jak and Daxter and Jak 2.
James GalizioGUEST
59:34
you know.
James GalizioGUEST
59:34
I distinctly remember when I picked up GTA Chinatown Wars, not on the DS, on the PSP.
James GalizioGUEST
59:42
And it had a big manual for it.
James GalizioGUEST
59:44
And then it also came with like a fold-out map for the game

Greg MillerHOST
102:39

Greg MillerHOST
102:40
Criminally underplayed.
Marcel DeeHOST
38:52
You know what? I don't care.
Marcel DeeHOST
38:54

Marcel DeeHOST
38:56
That is the only one.
Sami-Jo PerruzzaHOST
38:58
Interesting.
Sami-Jo PerruzzaHOST
39:20

Sami-Jo PerruzzaHOST
39:21
All right.
Marcel DeeHOST
39:22
I've never, the only GTA I bought was Chinatown Wars.
Marcel DeeHOST
39:26
Uh, and then everything else was free.
EugeneHOST
34:50
My favorite GTA game is still L.A. Noire, is the joke I was about to make.
EugeneHOST
34:56
And my real answer is actually Chinatown Wars.
JustinHOST
34:59
Yeah, Chinatown Wars is amazing, and I've been playing that on my Thor, but I might have to look up what sort of mods and stuff I can add to it.
JustinHOST
35:17
I don't know if there was a PC version, but I know there was an iPad and a PSP version, so there's got to be a version that I can mod.
JustinHOST
35:24
You can at least do
EugeneHOST
35:26
cheats on the DS version.
JustinHOST
35:28
Yeah, Chinatown Wars is easily one of the best GTA
BrandonHOST
35:31
games.
JamesHOST
14:16
Yeah.
JamesHOST
14:16
I mean, I don't, I mean, but then again, but then how many people bought a DS for Chinatown Wars back in the day? I don't know if a lot of people did.
JamesHOST
14:25
I mean, I know that's not next.
JamesHOST
14:26
I'm imagining like
ZachHOST
54:02
Yeah.
RyanGUEST
54:02
[laughs] But so Game Club, my Game Club game, uh, I chose Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
RyanGUEST
54:11
It's from 2009, so I mean, kinda not retro, but because it's on a 2004 system, it really looks like it's from 2004.
RyanGUEST
54:21
So that's my hack.
