Grand National Roadster Show

This is the fourth year of this show.

Everyone should know or probably knows of the Grand National Roadster Show.

Well, this is the same people, but they're trying their hands at just a truck show.

Right.

This takes up one building.

And

the Roadster show, they have, like, they have the Suede Palace.

Suede Palace, yep.

I also try to be as articulate as possible with that, and also we want to thank our friends who gave us this little spot here for the Grand National Roadster Show, John Buck and Kevin Doyle.

76th anniversary.

You know, there was some really great shows.

I mean, Grand National Roadster Show, Moon Eyes.

There's some awesome shows, and I'm not discounting the importance and coolness of California at all.

But over time, it's like I got a hummingbird flying right above my head.

I love it.

I love SEMA.

I love Grand National Roadster Show.

I love Lone Star Roundup.

But I love what he pointed out, which was there could be a car at a car show that wins an award that might not drive other than on and off of a trailer, 'cause it's just not capable.

He was pointing out a car that they saw at Grand National Roadster Show that they ...

One of his guys that worked for him went over, and he said, "Hey, I'm just curious from looking around your car, where's the, where's the radiator at in this car?" And the guy was like, "Oh, it, we don't have a radiator in it.

We haven't gotten to that yet." 'Cause it was a show car, right?

So he's in Tempe, Arizona, and he is – man, if you've ever seen a car built by Buddy Hell, they're next level.

The Grand National Roadster Show, do you know what that is? That's where – like the schloniker i think i'm saying it right but the schloniker award or something like that is like the highest like award that they'll give to a non-roadster buddy hill won that this year and that's like of all like we're talking all the chip deuces and and just you know all of their you know ring brothers and just all those guys so buddy won that this year to tell you what kind of work this guy does and so yeah so i took alan's car And I found Buddy Hill, and I built two cars early on with Buddy Hill.

I built a 64 Sepia brown convertible, and I built Allen's.

I redid Allen.

And what should the VW world be watching out for, uh, for coming from you or coming out of your collection or really just what's coming next for the chief hoarder in charge? Yeah.

um yeah i mean obviously the head mueller is going to be i think it's going to be uh my probably the final of the, of the Holy cow builds.

You know what I mean? Like we're going to grant grand national roadster show and, uh, and go after, go after some cool competitions.

And so from a build perspective, it's probably that car.

So one of the event, uh, things that Carrie asked, what is your favorite event you go to, and what is one event you'd like to go to that you've never been to?

Uh, my favorite event is... well, nowadays, is probably the Grand National Roadster Show.

Mm-hmm.

It's such a good show.

Yeah.

It's at SEMA, we got a few minutes at Grand National Roadster Show this year, but I was looking forward to our couple days here this week, you know? Looking forward to going up and shooting with the Ring brothers.

I mean, that's gonna be-
