Grand Canyon Railway

Back on the Mother Road, Route 66, she drove to Williams, a town that calls itself the gateway to the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon Railway runs from here to the South Rim, and Susmita arrived just in time to watch the Daily Cowboy Show, a free performance that's been entertaining visitors for years.

She walked a section of Route 66 in town and stopped for a meal at Cruiser's Cafe 66, a restaurant filled with nostalgia and classic American food.

The final day took her to Seligman, the birthplace of historic Route 66.

Such a great combination if you want to head to Alaska.

And then we're also gonna be talking with Sam Langer of Grand Canyon Railway.

That is coming up here in the first two segments of the show.

[laughs] Oh, well done.

A little bit earlier this week, Mark and I are big train people, and Mark actually introduced me to this gentleman, Sam Langer, with Grand Canyon Railway.

We talked to him a little bit earlier this week as we were in port so we could get this on the air for our listeners.

Justin and another friend went to Tuscan, Arizona, and asked another friend to help look for the missing pair.

In the meantime, the two missing ones were located by Grand Canyon Railway employees south of Tuscan, Arizona, but Justin didn't know this.

Justin and another of his friends returned to the Kaibib National Forest at a spot 5 miles from Tuscan and 15 miles from where their friends had been found some time earlier.

His companion went to sleep at 9am and when he woke up at 5pm, Justin was gone.
