Grains Research and Development Corporation

Working in partnership with the government is a great opportunity.

In the past, industries like the grains industry have been concerned that South Australia has missed out on being able to access funds from, say, organisations like the Grains Research and Development Corporation to do a co-funded situation.

Will this money also go into perhaps co-funded or national projects as well to, I guess, deliver more bang for buck?

Look, I haven't seen the fine details of how the government want to structure co-investment with this fund, but I'm sure anything that leverages additional co-investment from other sources will be seen positively.

RiskWise is a five-year national project to help Australian grain growers improve their on-farm decision-making.

This program is supported by the GRDC and led by CSIRO.

For the last few years, we've travelled Australia's grain growing regions, spending time around kitchen tables, in sheds and workshops, and having my eyes open to the incredible people who live and breathe the Australian grain sector.
