But then when we finally switch to the stuff outside, the chase, we kind of, we've basically shifted from the Tobias story realistic warm vibe we get a little bit of that beetlejuice convex dutch tilt and then suddenly outside it does become proper again within the confines of the budget and the show kind of horror yeah and the pace and the speed and the look and the design so i think it's telling that it's a production designer directing it because each of those emotional setups has a really distinct look i think

I was going to say, we haven't even mentioned that Grace Zabriskie's in this as the main vampire.

Obviously, probably just finished Twin Peaks at this point, I think.

Yeah, that would be great, yeah.

But, um, you know, it, it all fits together.

I, I w- I will say the weird thing about the, both these movies and their casting is, um, who, who's, who's the good guy's pilot? It's Grace Zabriskie.

Um, good old Mrs. Palmer herself.

Like, he just shows up here and there.

He was just a good face.

Uh, but you're tr- what? You were trying to, like, launch him alongside fucking Grace Zabriskie and Melvin Van Peebles as notable...

Like, no, he needed the money.

But I do think that it is connected to, obviously, when you hear that ancient foreign voice of hers, that's how the film opens.

So that's where immediately I'm thinking of Grace Zabriskie's character of Visitor One.

And all of the talk about, is your husband involved? And we don't know at this point.

I think that it is important to know one's neighbors, to say hello to them.

And of course, you've just seen this on the TV and now you're seeing it in real life.
