Grace Van Pelt

It's right after they talk to the family and then they get back together outside the house.

And Lisbon is talking to Van Pelt and Jane checks the time by lifting up her wrist and just checking the time on her watch.

This is one of the early signs that they were familiar with each other.

They were comfortable with each other.

This is what he does.

And there was an awful lot of, yeah, this was an awful lot of throwback, I thought, to the themes that we were setting up in the pilot.

Even when he's dancing with one of the, you know, the direction that was hailing back to the same kind of dance that he did with Van Pelt.

And Jane is like, it's all very nice and easy, which, oh

my God, must

be so irritating, right? Because, I mean, Van Pelt has done really good investigative work and she's found a solid lead.

And meanwhile, he's just like, eh.

He's on General Hospital, Jane the Virgin, and he was a guest on The Mentalist.

Do you remember which one that was? He was the one who was getting the massage from Van Pelt.

Oh, yeah, I would never replace him.
