Yeah.

We kind of said, "This is what we'd like to do," and then as we, like, spoke to her on set or spoke to, you know, people in her orbit, it was like, we would just love access to, like, the first shows that you did when you did runway shows in the '90s.

And then suddenly she was pulling out, you know, old Polaroids and her original show notes and, you know, she's a person that has had so many creative iterations that even us as fans of hers, we were like, "Oh, she made all these films with John Malkovich in the '90s."

Mm.

So I think for us, what's been so nice is like we've launched it...

You know, I live in London, so there's like, we're gonna have European stockists, UK stockists, we're gonna do a launch event in London with Bella, but it's printed in Australia, it's made in Australia, it's an Australian title.

Um, and again, it kind of speaks to like we refuse to let ourselves follow this idea of like the rules of how you launch an Australian magazine.

It was a pleasure to speak with Persona's co-founders, Grace O'Neill, who joined us in the studio, and Paulina Page-Ortega, who spoke with us from Australia.

I started in print magazines straight out of-- While I was in university, actually, I, I moved from Perth to Sydney to study media.

I actually wanted to be a filmmaker and kind of got this weird [chuckles] turn left into magazines.

I got an opportunity to intern at Vogue, and my cohort was full of a lot of very serious people that aspired to be foreign correspondents and news anchors.

And so I w- did not have any qualifications, but very fortunately got through the rounds and got an internship at Vogue Australia, which began this sort of process of working in print media.

I ended up at Harper's Bazaar and then Elle, most recently as the editor-in-chief of Australian Elle.

That was a relaunch of that title in the Australian market.

And Grace, I want to ask you, give us, you know, as the first issue of Persona, give us a little introduction on what it is and what's its aim in a way.
