This was the, also the band that the Wonders are gonna become.

Yeah.

...

in two fake band films that came out the same month.

If we had a nickel for every time Chris Isaac was barely in a fake band movie in 1996, we'd have two nickels.

This is Alec Baldwin, and you're listening to Here's the Thing from iHeartRadio.

You may recognize my guest today from cult classics such as Cape Fear, Goodfellas, To Die For, and Grace of My Heart, or from TV shows such as Six Feet Under and Ugly Betty.

Ileana Douglas is an Emmy-nominated actress as well as a writer, producer, director, and author.

And then we produced two movies together, Search and Destroy and Grace of My Heart.

So that was '97.

And today we're joined by a truly special guest.

She's a legendary actress who has starred in iconic films like Cape Fear, Grace of My Heart, To Die For and Ghost World.

She's also a filmmaker, producer and author of I Blame Dennis Hopper, A Life in and Out of the Movies and Connecticut in the Movies.

And her new book, Jungle Red, the making of MGM's The Women, dives into the backstory and legacy of the iconic 1939 film starring Joan Crawford and Norma Shearer.

I know, thank you.

Yeah.

Well, we also have a very proud to have another title viewers in our library, grace of my heart.

Just wanted to ask, you know, how involved were you in the production of that and like the bonus features and all of that?
