Finally, excitement in gravel racing fraternity is, uh, continuing to rise as the 2026 Nedbank Gravel Burn draws closer.

Uh, the, uh, Gravel Burn, uh, will begin in the historic town of Graaff-Reinet in just 15 days' time, starting with a seven-day journey across the, uh, Great Karoo, uh, uh, into the Eastern Cape.

It finishes at Shamwari Private Game Reserve, and one of Cape Town's most popular mountain bikers and gravel cyclists, Mariska Strauss, will be lining up for the second year.

She told me she's looking forward to it.
