So your mitochondria produce about 95% of the free radicals in your body.

So we think we have one of the first validated drug targets.

It's called glutathione peroxidase 1.

And GPX1 is, again, highly expressed in the cochlea.

It's highly expressed in areas of the brain that control behavior and some executive function, then lung and kidney.

So we think we have broad applicability even beyond the inner ear.
