And, you know, what I found is that the athletes that understand their how they move.

they're generally the best athletes and a good example is one of the athletes in Australia is a sprinter Gaut Gaut and I've worked with him since he was 14 years old fastest sort of youth athlete he ran 9.97 in his school carnival and um he now holds a oceana 200 meter record but again from even an early stage there working with him and his coach he really understood how he needed to connect with the ground how do you how he needed to exchange his limbs how he needed to move each individual step and so yeah having video and having being able to work with an athlete and to be able to show them they know how they need to you know feel when they're moving as well

But then you don't think about, well, what about ground contact? You know, and if all of a sudden that ground contact, if you eccentrically load that ground contact point well now all of a sudden you're going to spend more time on the ground you're going to slow down so the muscle structure you know works isometrically the tendon tissue will be forced to lengthen you know as the body mass moves over a fixed foot and then what we've been able to see is well we've been able to see that we can influence the world's best sprinters by helping them maintain top speed longer which is mind-blowing, really.

I love their athletics coverage team, but particularly Bruce.

In the twilight of his career, I'm really disappointed that that the moments of Gout Gout and Lockie Kennedy and Tory Lewis and Jess Hull and Cam Myers and this golden generation of athletes that I think we have, particularly on the track right now, won't have the soundtrack of Bruce McIverney calling them.

I think they'll just contract him to jump ship.

I'd be surprised if Seven did.
