Gothmog

Picking up on the Western front, Fingon and Turgon face a host three times the size of the army that they still have left to them.

That's when we read, Gothmog, lord of Balrog's high captain of Angband, was come, and he drove a dark wedge between the elven hosts, surrounding King Fingon, and thrusting Turgon and Hurin aside toward the fen of Serech.

Then he turned upon Fingon.

By the time his sons caught up to him, he was still fighting, but mortally wounded.

personal legion with him.

Yeah, yeah.

So-

So like Sauron, Gothmog, and a handful of Balrogs.

And the third one would be he gets like pretty much everything that ultimately defines him.
