Goron

Gorons should be able to break the snow boulders easily.

Well, I'm not a Goron, so.

I'm not saying it would be.

We see a Goron up there.

Steve, I don't know if this makes me sacrilege.

I love Gorons as a concept.

I hated doing the Goron stuff in Ocarina of Time.

I hated it.

Yeah, when you look back on it, their introduction wasn't exactly the best.

It

made me dislike Gorons, which should never happen because they're cool creatures.

But I hated them by association because of what Ocarina made me do.

I think it is.

But, but that, but they're the Gorons, and they're the mountain people.

I wonder if there is something intentional about them, about their look.

Yeah.

We hiked our way up, avoiding obstacles.

tech tights, rolling Gorons that we're going to knock you off the side of the building or off the side of the mountain.

We find their city to find that there is a food shortage crisis afoot.

And we make a deal with their leader that if we asked defeat, clear out the dungeon, the Dodongo's Cavern, for him.

We're told about a great fairy and that's the way to go.

They want you to check out the Great Fairy.

They even, when Link leaves the little cut scene where the Gorons are coming in for a hug, instead of going down towards Kakariko, they actually have him going upwards, up the mountain.

They want Link to go up.

Again, we saw a good cross-section of the characters.

We saw Gorons and Zoras and Great Fairy and all these different...

They've, I think, preserved the... you know the variety of the very sort of cartoonish nature of the characters they haven't kind of scrunched that down into some sort of more you know realistic aesthetic so i'm glad that you know we at least get that but it does end up like i say having this an incongruity to it um you know with all these sort of very detailed textures and you know materials and things Whereas I think if it was a bit more explicit, like these are puppets clothed in real things, I think for me, some of that incongruity would go away.

Now, whether it would work for a broad audience or whatever is a whole other question.
