... how that came about.

But anyway, the, the, the w- w- what happened in the sequence, which was quite enough to distract me from being fatherless, was that my mother went to work in a boarding school in Goring-on-Thames as the school secretary.

And my education, such as it was at the age of five, was thrown in as part of her salary.

And it was a, a boarding school, uh, run by, um, a man rejoicing, I mean, for a school master, in the name of Roland Birch.

... uh, the 175th, no, 150th anniversary game of Goring On Thames last week.

I'm not sure if Gregg upon Thames is near Goring-on-Thames.

What I can say is-

We also, yeah, so we tried to do a walk.

We went to Goring-on-Thames, which is just slightly north of us, above Pangborn.

Yeah.

wonderful little village.
