Gordon Head

Uh, another personal story, uh, like, I, I'm, I think we need to, we need to be, still continue to be proactive when it comes to policing and safety, and I think we need to get our own house in order.

My daughter was at a, a local corner store in Gordon Head.

She was accosted, lewd comments were made to her by someone, and I had to go and act on myself, and then host self-defense classes for women and girls in the area.

And I think Saanich really needs to focus on Saanich right now before we look at amalgamating.

We know of one Centre BC candidate for sure here on the South Island.

That's Andrew Weaver running at Oak Bay-Gordon Head.

He's an interesting one.

He's a case to watch.

resonates the same way that the Greens did there in the past in Saanich North and the

Islands.

And the other wild card is I'm not sure what Weaver's going to do to the race in Oak Bay Gordon Head.

Weaver, of course, held that riding for a number of years.

Now you have Lana Popham not running, Rob Barlow not running.

We're now hearing about a new candidate in Oak Bay, Gordon Head.

Gordon Head is part of Saanich.

And so this election call, it was brutal.

I think it's brutal for us in local municipal elections.
