So I am coming on today to talk about the i think probably safe to say one of the more controversial group models in recent nhs history which is the group model between uh whole university teaching hospitals and northern lincolnshire and ghoul so um spend a little time on the geography because it is important um The two trusts are separated by the Humber Estuary and the Humber Bridge.

On the north bank, Hull, East Yorkshire is kind of specialist, not specialist, tertiary centre.

On the south bank, Northern Lincoln Ghoul, or NLAG, runs District General Hospitals in Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

So this is Northeast Lincolnshire and then a smaller hospital at Ghoul.

Back in 2022, they announced plans to move towards a shared executive team.

What's the next adventure? What's the next challenge? What have you got coming up for y- for you?

I'm going to be paddleboarding across the coast of England, and that is 162 miles in total, which I'll be doing over nine or 10 days, and it includes 101 locks to portage around, and that's going from Liverpool to Goole in Yorkshire.

Well, I have a couple of paddle friends doing it with me, and I'm being supported by Red Equipment.
