Google Tasks

We're not utilizing it.

And in fact, I think you probably could get away with a Google Doc and just set up Google Tasks if you really want to skip the Asana.

Asana really only comes into play when you have, I'd say, a team of... maybe 10 plus people, and you have concurrent things that you guys need prerequisites for, and this person has to hand that off to that person.

But I would say, for us, we're really only using the basics there of like, hey, here's the notes on what we have to have done, here's some links, here's the deadlines, here's their order priority, and who needs to coordinate with who.

The amount of times I've said to Sam, I'm so sorry, Sam.

So right, Google Tasks, now everything, all the to-do stuff is in Google Tasks.

And then three months later, actually, no, we're going to use Todoist to put everything in Todoist.

And then a couple of months later, let's try Google Keep, actually.

Go through Slack, go through Gmail, go through my calendar.

And then I was using Google Tasks.

And it couldn't access my to-do list.

So I was like, oh, what can I do? And then I asked it, what can you do to make it so we can access it? So I just asked it to do it.

Can I give another one I'm really excited about? It's this is like less, you know, uh, sort of like aspirationally high minded and it's really prosaic, which is, I just want it to work with every single third party tool I use.

Like your Google task thing kills me.

I like wanted to work with Google tasks.

I want all those things to work.

Things like that.

And last is, I just remember I was coaching someone recently, a couple of days ago, and he set up his system on Google Tasks.

So another thought to keep in mind is just because the tool allows you to use it, to do it, enables you to do it, like, you know, it has subtasks and details and you can nest.

And there's all these different kinds of crazy combinations.

I do want to give honorable mention to adding a task in Google Calendar.

So Google Tasks works equally as well in many respects.

Like Todoist, you can choose the date and time.

You can make it repeat as well.

Anybody using Google Tasks? I really wanna use Google Tasks, but I'm not, and here's one of the reasons why.

'Cause very recently, inside of Google Calendar, instead of creating an event now, you could actually just create tasks.

And so I used to very painstakingly-- And I, I've been using AI to add things to my calendar in time blocks.

Throwing things in the calendar too easily, I think there's a bit of danger in that.

I feel that way even about Apple Reminders, um, Google Tasks.

A lot of these things you can just, like, put things in the calendar a little too easily, and I think there's, you know, danger in letting things, like, fly in there.

Um, I also think it doesn't...
