Meta's Muse AI assistant went from triggering market volatility following earlier AI safety warnings to topping app download charts and reigniting a massive tech rally in Asia.

So as analysts look ahead to Google Labs' upcoming agent, do you think markets are pricing in genuine productivity gains or just riding another hype cycle?

I think AI is a genuine technological leap.

I mean, I would describe it in the order of shift from 2G to 3G, or for those of us a bit older, from sending a text via fax to sending it via email.

Like I've been beta testing Google CC.

Have you guys been using that? It's like in Google Labs, which is basically like their agent that they're working on.

I do use that, but my personal inbox is so useless that I'm like, yeah,

it's not, it's not going to have the sort of earth shattering, you know, I think like reception, uh, that these agents have, but, I don't know.

which has topped U.S. app download charts in the past two weeks.

Analysts are now keen to see how a similar product from Google Labs, known as CTC, will fare with consumers.

On Wall Street, S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures were both a fraction firmer.

In Europe, Eurostoxx 50 futures, DAX futures, and FTSE futures were all up almost 0.4%.

Uh, my last boss was doing a speaking engagement at Google and I met Sergey Brin and, um, And Larry Page and I had said, hey, guys, if you had one piece of advice for an entrepreneur, what would it be? And they go, create your idea backwards based on keyword search.

So they were like, go to Google Labs and you could see all the non-trademark terms in our AdWords database that people search for in every category.

So I went to entertainment category and the most searched word was red carpets.

So I go on to GoDaddy and I pay $4,400 and I buy redcarpets.com. And I call my best friend and I go, Bill, we have to start a company called redcarpets.com. And he's like, what are we going to sell? And I go, I don't know, photos, videos.

That's fascinating.

But it is one of those things, isn't it? Especially, like you said, with the keyword, what you said about Google Labs.

That was something that I did as well back in the day.

And it is, it's insane.

And I want to be, I want to be clear, like what this is because, um, Google has another, uh, Google labs product called CC and it's, it's, I kind of superfluous now with these other things, but it's, it's a, it's a, uh, like an extension for Gmail that you could, you, it signs into, I think it's like your Gmail, your calendar.

And maybe, I don't know, drive or something.
