I obviously use Outlook and using the Google Chrome with the app, it does this nice wrapper, so it almost makes it look like an application.

Same with Google Keep, which I use all the time.

and then there's also some other things you should know some things don't get loaded such as i needed a key ring because whenever i launch package manager it would show like an authentication failure so that's what this is right here i would install the plo kit and the keyring and then i would launch this so it could authenticate and use package manager like i always have you know like i did in xfce and then i assigned certain applications to certain workspaces this means when i launch these applications by default they would actually get pushed to like workspace 2. or workspace four for VirtualBox.

That means I could always go, hey, mod key, which is Windows key four, and it would pull up my VirtualBox workspace.

You will now go into whatever app you like.

No taking apps on the phone like Google Keep will allow you to put alarm.

Then, apart from Google Keep, what do we discuss again? There's also Google To-Do List.

On To-Do List, you can also set an app.

But I told you that instead of all these other app, app, app, up and down, you can just go straight into your phone's calendar app.

I saw some things in there.

So is there a permission I have to grant to be able to do all that stuff with my email and my KeepNotes? Because I have all those things that I use.

They're pretty much built in now.

Okay.

So I'm not able to tell you what that does exactly or which other apps you can import from.

I think Google Keep is one of them, but I'm not entirely sure.

The Android apps I am using, I have installed on this device.

I'm pretty bearish on app streaming in general.

Uh, what I have used is for Google Messages because the bloody PW- the messages.google.com/web is unfortunately still here and still horrible.

Um, so anyways, the Android apps I'm using on a regular basis for like to write, to like write posts in is Google Keep, which I launch with a hot, uh, I for- forgot what it's called in Google Book, but on Mac it's hot corners.

I just bring my cursor to the bottom left and it opens Google Keep, um, or it brings it to the front, which is nice.

... and they just axed it.

Uh, and they made it so that all your like shopping list reminders, it used to go to a note or I forget what, what service it used, um, that you could access on the web, and they changed it so it's like, no, that only works with Google Keep now, which means you need to download the Keep app.

Oh.

And there's no Keep-

And yeah, being able to keep track of our schedules and deadlines and peanut allergies for kids and maybe your kid's class is definitely helpful.

So what about Google Keep? That's K-E-E-P, Google Keep.

What can that do for someone who has like a million things going through their head? They've got a million tabs open in their brain.

How is this going to help them?

Yes.

Google Keep is our note-taking app.

And so if you're somebody who's got a really busy morning and likes to set out with your day with a to-do list in place, Keep is a great place for you to get that done.

And we also have live features available in Keep.

If you are doing it in your notes app, you can title your note, and then when you are searching for things, you can pull it up when it's like your grocery lists.

So, i- to give you an example, my favorite, I've talked about this so many times, but I love using Google Keep, and it is like Google's version of a notes app.

I love the functionality of it.

I use it for everything.

It's my grocery store templates.

It is reminders.

It's our list of, like, TV shows that we're watching and when a new season is coming out, and, like, even further out, like, into 2027, we've got shows that will come back around, because when my husband and I are searching for what to watch, we're like, "Hey, what are we watching? Is the next thing out, or is the next season out that we've watched previously?" And he's the one that recommended me to actually create this list in my Google Keep app, because he knows how much I love using this app to keep myself organized.

So those are the types of things that you can put in there.

Google's AI voice update just changes everything.

Google Keep can now listen to you ramble and turn it into a clean list.

You talk, Gemini sorts it out.

That is the new Keep live feature and it comes from Google's Gemini audio models.

With the old voice note, he had to talk slowly and clearly.

That tells you something.
