I'd love to.

So about last summer, I sat down with the song kerosene by Miranda Lambert, um, before he cheats by Carrie Underwood, um, Goodbye Earl by the Chicks, I wanted to write a little bit of a murder ballad because I felt like there wasn't a current one, maybe besides some Ashley McBride songs, Love Her, that was really popping.

And Don't Mess With Texas was the title that came to mind.

I sat down and wrote this song in about 30 minutes and just produced it this past Sunday, and I wanted to give it to you boys first.

And it's like, oh, yeah, that is such a beautiful...

And that's how I got to know some music, new music too, was by listening to people sing it at karaoke, like Goodbye Earl by the Chicks I had never really listened to.

That's a great karaoke song.

And now it's my go-to.

And he likes like narrative songs in that way.

Like I bet he thinks Goodbye Earl goes so hard.

Well, yeah, he probably does.

He probably sings Goodbye Earl thinking of Melania.

Yeah.

Being like, goodbye, Earl.

That's her, right? I'm not making a fool of myself.

Wait, what? Goodbye Earl is Dolly.

Yep.

And then he wrote Goodbye Earl by the Chicks.

Oh.

So he wrote...

Burning Love by Elvis, and then Earl, Goodbye Earl.

I mean, that's like his spanning his career, like Colin Badrusion.

So we might have to do a list on him someday, Russell.

Yeah, it's a great tune.
