Good Vibrations

It's pretty grey, it's pretty grim.

You might have seen Good Vibrations, the story of a record shop which signed up a lot of punk groups in Belfast.

It's set in the late 1970s when punk rock happened and woke a lot of us up, including me, as a young teenager.

And I was too young to go and see the punk gigs which happened in the middle of town.

And if you want to know what it looks like, that film starts off with a montage of footage from around that time, around the 70s, when it's set.

And I went to see the film with my son Sebastian, and I remember him being pretty shocked at what the happy city that he knows now used to look like.

It's kind of shocking.
