Good Fortune

I think, like, go ahead, go ahead then.

You sold me on your synopsis for that movie last week, and there was some confusion that happened, and I ended up watching the movie Good Fortune, expecting it to be that movie you just described.

And I enjoyed it all the same, but I'm like, this isn't the movie we all like.

I talked about Good Fortune, too, though.

That's the Keanu Reeves as an angel one.

You'll like it, Ellie, too, because as I was watching it, I'm like, Keanu Reeves is like doing a live action version of Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes because he's like just, oh, he's like so innocent and just delighted at the world.

keanu reeves for the first time in a long time kind of goes back to uh what was that stoner comedy bill and ted thank you he plays like a very dumb happy-go-lucky guy he plays the angel gabriel um which will get into the biblical meaning of it comes down to basically try to make people's life a little bit better and see the positive in life right and oh my gosh it's it there's a lot of dumb knee slappers in it but it's a good stoner comedy okay it's Seth Rogen returning to like what he's good at from a comedy standpoint nice Aziz and Zari overacts a little bit but that's kind of his thing sure sure yeah so the whole idea is that Seth Rogen's this rich guy Aziz and Zari's having like trouble like we all are just trying to make it doing like DoorDash essentially ends up becoming his personal assistant and then based off of a wish Keanu Reeves switches their lives and

But then

everything goes wrong and they can't switch back.

I don't think it was as good as the previous two Deadpool movies, but I still had a really good time with it.

And then we also watched together Good Fortune, which is on Amazon Prime.

And this stars Keanu Reeves, Aziz Ansari, Seth Rogen, and Keke Palmer.

And Aziz Ansari, he actually wrote and directed this movie.

We can reminisce about our old days working in radio.

And, you know, I can school him on some movies because my man is not good when it comes to movie reviews.

Like, he went to go see A Star is Born years ago and says it's the worst movie he's ever seen.

It's a bad movie.

I'm with him on that.

But since then, he's been in the movies like a handful of times.

He's like, oh, I just saw The Odyssey, my man.

It's terrible.

yeah starting with not five years but uh by starting with uh I did a movie called Good Fortune with Aziz Ansari, which he starred in.

And then right after that, I did The Studio, which Seth Rogen acted and directed.

And then I did a movie called Splitsville, which was directed by Mike Covino, which he also starred in.

That was the one we talked about where they had a billboard where a guy was living in it on Sunset Boulevard for three days.

And the last one is Good Fortune.

And if this is the one that I am thinking of, let's see, is that the one I'm thinking of? Because if it is, it's the worst movie I've ever seen.

I think that that film, is that the one with Keanu Reeves? Let me just look.
