The ones that Gonzo hangs around.

But they're also in the Sabrina Carpenter Muppet and they're funny there.

[audience cheering] The Muppet Show is 50 years old.

The show premiered on September 5th, 1976, introducing audiences to the backstage chaos of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and my favorite, Animal.

Oh.

Ah.

Yeah.

Um, but they did also, they have booths there for toy companies to show off their wares, like Comic-Con has, and NECA rolled up, not only showing off the, you know, Mahna Mahna, but as well as the Gonzo and the Miss Piggy.

But underneath that, there was a new shelf full of little creatures that we've come to know and love, [laughs] the Muppet Babies.

It's like Jurassic Park.

I don't think we got any information about how they're being released or when even.

Uh, but NECA has been in the middle of releasing a ton of Muppet-related figures lately.

They've, you know, had all the Sesame Street ones come out, and they've got Gonzo on pre-order, and, uh, Kermit and Robin from Muppet Christmas Carol is currently on pre-order.

And so I think they're just gonna be rolling these out for the next, you know, five, 10 years.

Like, you know, I don't know entirely.

Like, you almost expect Gonzo to be the first mate.

Not sure he'd describe it as that, but we went to Oris

and we got to see, well, Gonzo.

We did.

We went to Oris.

And they said they wouldn't do that.

And who would think to do that? But I'm pretty sure that there is a certain term.

I mean, there's a certain demographic that... probably enjoy it but anyway yes every Muppet so far had been within the Pro Pilot X series which is a smaller 39 millimeter with their Cal 400 or the Cali Bear caliber in it this one though was back to the OG that was the original hand wound in-house manufacturer 10-day power reserve I remember it's a big watch it's quite a big watch maybe arguably fractionally too big for a lot of people but nonetheless cool watch every design dna piece that ended up in that smaller 39 millimeter kind of version of the pro pilot x is in that watch but it's skeletonized and it is all the colors that you would expect from well if you watch muppets of a certain generation you will have watched muppets all the color codes pretty much every color under the sun was on it skeletonized you had that kind of I don't know bell pepper the nose thing that was going on in the power reserve because they've got a two a 10 day power reserve do you know the coolest thing it was completely pointless totally pointless but they pointed out because it's skeletonized when you wind that watch up because it's a manual wind you watch that mainspring tighten up and as it tightens up they had laser engraved Gonzo on the mainspring and I think they said when it's fully wound you've got about eight minutes to see the image and by that point after eight minutes it's kind of opened up enough that well it's gone and it's basically an easter egg it's what you would normally expect to find in a digital world in a computer game or something frankly do you know what chapeau well done to them because you know taking pointlessness to watchmaking I mean who needs a mechanical watch anyway but that's a whole level of meta beyond anyway really cool watch I kind of like it I struggle with the size I mean I've not got the biggest wrist in the world it's a big watch I remember seeing it when it came out in fact Rolf was wearing the OG the original kind of just skeletonized one and I really wanted that watch but it was just too big I bought the ProPilot X after it came out because well it was a more fitting size for me but it's a great watch That was their big thing.
