Gonzo

And this came out in 2005 and it

is by Studio Gonzo, which is still going today.

But yeah, back then their whole, they had a whole variety of different shows then.

And it's nice to go back to this series.

We got Kanbei, the wise leader, Kasuhiro, the young apprentice, Gorobe, the entertaining veteran, Shichiroji, Kiku, Chiyo, the cyborg, Heihachi, the friendly pacifist, and Kyuzo, the quiet bodyguard, fighting clones of the emperor and cyborg bandits.

I say that the designs for the characters and mecha holds up fairly well for 04 Studio Gonzo production.

I did thought that the English dub dialogue can be unintentionally funny sounding.

It's just the way they say certain lines where I struggle a little, even when I know they're being serious.

I went to Japan.

I was in Japan for the next six years of my life working with Studio Gonzo.

So that's where I really was one of the early non-Japanese, Japanese, Japanese anime producers, you know, so it was kind of this, you know, almost like this bad martial arts movie where it's like, I just came in swinging, like I knew everything, but then they fought and I was like, Oh, everything here is different.

Yeah.
