Goloka

Right? I have to help this Gop Kumar.

And there's a special delegation of Sri Radha and everything that wants him there in Goloka.

And then he sees Uddhava.

And then Narada begins to explain what is the essence of this whole Brihadpagavattamrita second part, which is Uttara's question, to look for that place where that love is.

So he starts to explain the glories of Goloka.

And now, in today's verse, what he does, he not only explains it now, After describing Goloka, because we just described Goloka and Mathura, but Yoja and them, they're not the same.

Vṛndāvana is not that, as Kṛṣṇa is not located, He is located, but by His inconceivable potency, He can simultaneously become located and distributed.

akhilātma-bhūtaḥ goloka eva nivasati akhilātma-bhūtaḥ He is always in Goloka Vṛndāvana, but still he's everywhere.

And that is God's omnipotence.

We say that God is omnipotent, but we do not know what does it mean.

The omnipotence means simultaneously to do or to act or to remain everywhere.

That is Krishna.

Krishna, you may not think that Krishna is Goloka Vrindavan.

Here he is an idol of Krishna.

Anyway, since Uddhava was reluctant, Narada himself begins revealing the confidential truth here.

that this Goloka, this residence where Krishna's a cowherd boy, far away, meaning it's much more exalted than other places, and it's beyond Vaikuntha.

So now, the real essence of what Brihadbhagavatamrita is, from the very beginning, those who have been following this study with me, The very essence of what this is is being revealed with Gopakumar's attainment and now the explainment of Narada Muni to affirm it, that this is the highest.

The highest love is intimate love, not reverence.

So he's now saying that same galok, this very high place, In the previous verse it said, far away from here, because he's explaining to him, this is your place.

And when you say, this is your place, this is your place because the devotees have that mood where God manifests as your Ishtadev, your desirable Lord.

So far away from here is that most exalted place called Goloka.

And it's beyond any region.

They're alike.

Goloka and Gokula, they're alike.

Somehow or other, this place is the spiritual world.

When we go around, once we, you know, you get from St. Petersburg and there's an energy and there's business and there's work and there's, then you enter into Vrindavan and then you, like last year, you walk around that Govardhan Hill.

Yeah.

So basically it's explaining

Goloka and Gokula.

Here it's just Narada saying both sides only seek to please each other.

Sri Narada said, "Indeed, just see the amazing charm and glory of the personality of God, his pastimes, and see in those pastimes how seriously committed his devotees are to serving him and him alone." So he says how, how, how amazing are these pastimes where God is taking the role as kind of a human.

It, it's gonna be explained too that it just parallels the spiritual world, that this Goloka...

It describes going from Goloka to Gokula is like walking from one farm to another.

Because it's not moving by physical distance.

Things here are under God's laws, things there are under God's will.

[lips smack] So now there was a specific cause.

Now this, s- the same conduct.

These, these glories of the pastimes and the power of devotees- It's the same, Goloka and Gokula.

He had no time to do all these things practically.

And by hearing continuous after some, uh, seven days, he went to Goloka Vrindavan and he had the mood of gopis and he, uh, received Krishna.

He has received the service of Krishna like gopis.

It has been told in Brhad Bhagavatamrita.

If even in the same level for hundred years, thousand years, and lakhs of janma, only shraddha is there, then it may be destroyed.

Our shraddha should go up to bhava, and from bhava it go to prema.

Then we will be out of this maya, illusory maya, and we will go to Goloka Vrindavan.

So we should try to develop our bhakti in such a beautiful and powerful association of Vaishnava.

Oh, we can be friends.

Yeah, I've been many friends with Krishna, not only the Sakas, the Gaurd boys in Goloka.

Arjuna was a friend.

Krishna says, I bestowing this knowledge of Bhagavad Gita, this knowledge of the soul, to you because you are my devotee and my friend.

It seems quite a few people are not here, maybe some of the people with us.

But anyway, a- as we remember in this incredible pastime of Goloka Mahatmyam, Gop Kumar having that feeling in his heart, that meditation in his heart.

Pujya Pachriti Maharaj used to say that if you come to the gates of Goloka and you say, you've come from Navadvipa, they'll immediately open the gates and they'll come right in.

So your credentials will not be questioned, if you will.

So Gorlila is certainly the means to Krishna-lila, as said in Chaitanya Charitamrita, a verse that Pachitamrita used to like to cite in his own rendition of it that the gore-lila is like a fountain from which the water is streams of Krishna-lila flowing in all directions.
