Golf course

He wants everyone he is playing with to have one, but there's no such thing as a free lunch.

There's apparently no such thing as a free golf course snack during a round of golf with Trump.

No, certainly not if you're the Secret Service.

So when Trump is on the golf course, you know, it's not like a normal golfing experience.

I mean, there are 30 carts full of Secret Service agents all around.

There are people in the woods who are, you know, looking out to make sure that everybody's safe.

That was my first job ever, and I could imagine when people are up trying to, um, drive, they're at the tee box, they don't wanna hear a peep.

Yeah, crazy.

But if you're on the golf course, it's not worth it, even if you go birdie-birdie on the way in.

Just get away.

Yep, that stuff.

What they really want is a 30 second answer.

So I will tell you that one of my personal highlights was going to St. Andrew's Golf Course and being on the old course, which is a place where Mr. Weintraub is going next summer to actually see the open tournament.

Can't wait.

Took a tour there, played a little mini putt-putt.

Not a lot of people will be familiar with him by name.

yeah sure so look um i guess i do a you know a mix of my own design work and also shaping work um and and you know try and combine those two when i can uh Look, I've been in the industry for over 20 years.

I started, you know, way back.

And in that, he was really encouraging.

So he said, look, you know, I really liked this entry, blah, blah, blah.

We're building a course in Scotland, which was the Renaissance Club.

So we were planning, me and my now wife were planning to head over to the UK and work and travel a bit.

Very uncomfortable.

So here's the golf course bit.

Now, you know, you don't play a lot of golf.

No.

If you go to any public course, they're usually going to have at least a snack shop, a bar, you know, beers and stuff.

And then most of them have a restaurant, right? But a lot of the restaurants...

aren't very good because it's a golf course.

Right.

On tour, in tournament.

There's a guy at my golf course that has 12.

Who?

You know, we've got the whole St. Luke's Hospital that's not being used.

We've got, of course, Lake Pat and Golf Course that the other guy likes to talk about all the time.

But we have places where we could actually, instead of letting these people homeless camp all over the place, we'll put them somewhere and let's forcibly detox them.

That is step one, forcibly detoxing these folks and civilly committing them.
