Did an Israeli soldier testify that his unit was ordered to cancel Gaza border patrols at 5:20 AM on October 7th, barely an hour before Hamas attacked? Turns out the answer is yes.

Was there a stand down order? Six hours? I don't believe it.

It exposed an entire military culture that taught commanders to prioritize Western approval, hostile media coverage, and concern for enemy civilians, even terrorists, above victory and the protection of our own lives, our soldiers and civilians.

Benny Gantz, former IDF Chief of Staff, has boasted that he did not send Golani soldiers into a Gaza hospital to eliminate terrorists hiding there.

Gadi Eisenkot, now running to be Prime Minister in the next elections, represents the same senior command worldview of restraint, containment, and endless self-investigation, the mentality that helped bring Israel to October seventh.

Yair Golan, also former second in command of the IDF, went even further.

Uh, cause there's different brigades.

Um, and then, and then today we, we have, uh, in Givati, just like you have in, in Golani or the paratroopers, uh, that's on Hanim, you have the special forces, uh, units, which is a comprise of three, uh, small platoons.

Each one has their specialty.

You have the recon guys, you have the Was it the explosive guys and the anti-tank guys and whatever? So today that's more or less the same, but just a fun fact for the listeners out here that Shaked was actually the first special forces unit within Givati, and they have quite the heritage, if you like.

What's really scary here is the level of violence.

And I think what's happening with NASA and the difference between NASA and those TikTok videos from during the actual fighting when the Israeli foot soldiers were inside of Gaza, is who are committing these actions, you know? It's not the Golani, the simple soldier, the foot soldier from the Golani Brigade, you know, the lowest ranking soldier who's going apeshit in Gaza and tearing buildings and killing people and all that.

And then Israeli society can just say, what do you want? These are the margins of our society.

These are the hooligans that go to the army and commit all these atrocities.
