Godzilla: King of the Monsters

And so it starts with a 2014 movie, and then it connects to the Kong Skull Island.

And then from Kong Skull Island, it goes right to Godzilla King of the Monsters, and then so on and so forth.

I'm not going to give you the whole rundown, but just know that there's other Godzilla stuff to consume that will continue your love and your passion for.

And it's to the point where now we're still waiting on the next Supernova film.

There's very little anything.

I mean, even in 2019 with King of the Monsters, whenever all that was essentially left of Ghidorah was just his head and And whenever Godzilla's doing the pulsing thing and like Ghidorah's burning up, like it was, yeah, we're seeing the monster get, get fricasseed pretty much, but it wasn't gross.

Think about what a legit, realistic battle between Godzilla and King Ghidorah would look like in close quarters combat.

Forget about the atomic breath, forget about the gravity beams.

I can't remember if it was on TikTok or on Facebook, where they were saying that they were leaked images of Ghidorah.

And whenever I saw the leaked images, like the one of like full-fledged King Ghidorah, three heads, wing, you know, all that kind of stuff and everything.

He looks very, very similar to the 2019 design of Ghidorah in King of the Monsters.

And so one thing about that is that I almost immediately was like, well, this is fake or this is AI or something like that, because it's like, when I tell you they look extremely similar, they look extremely similar.

watched the last one.

He's the main antagonist of Godzilla, King of the Monsters.

And that was part two.

Also, his head becomes Mechagodzilla.

Mothra returns in the last one.

That's the only thing of value in it.

The Godzilla King of the Monsters, in fact, has a sequence that is the direct opposite of a sequence that happens in this film.

And I thought watching it, I was like, I wonder if Pete's going to recognize that this is the exact thing that happens in reverse in King of the Monsters.

Might as well be sitting there with your buddy right there, Godzilla.

And I'm telling you, man, if you saw the 2019 Godzilla King of the Monsters and you were kind of disappointed by that, This right here.

Well, yeah, that.

And this.

In a lot of the recent, like in the OG show adaptation, the bitty, bitty, bitty, the lightning lasts so long, it's like strobing in and out.

Even in the legendary version in King of the Monsters, like the actual lightning strikes feel just very numerous and like they're on screen for a lot of the time.

But this version of the lightning blast, It's almost over in an instant.

It's so much more like lightning.

Having attack scenes at night with the ass blasters and the graboids.

I didn't think they looked bad in the daylight, but it's kind of like what The Monsterverse did with the 2014 Godzilla, the 2019 Godzilla King of the Monsters.

They kept the monsters in the rain or the battle scenes were at dark.

And it helped with the features, like the lighting helped the features look better.

But I figured, let's take a look back.

Because we talked about Godzilla King of the Monsters, which had the fight between the two with Rodan there and Mothra.

let's go back to the toho movies from the 90s specifically i bought this collection a few months back and i never really got a use for it until now um the toho godzilla collection it is a six dvd collection of movies put out by sony pictures releasing and it is just a collection of the Toho Godzilla movies from the early 2000s and the 90s.
