Godzilla: Final Wars

It's actually going to be the final Godzilla movie of the Millennium Era.

We're going to be talking about Godzilla Final Wars, which is streaming for free on YouTube.

I'm al- I'm already, I'm already telling you, Shaggy, the moment we start talking about, uh, you know, Godzilla: Final Wars, and, and Jose and I, we get to yakking back and forth, this is gonna be YouTube the entire time.

My first Kaiju movie was Godzilla 2014.

My favorite Kaiju movie is Godzilla Final Wars.

My favorite Kaiju is Gorosaurus because of some Jurassic Park bias.

Just the gunfire reminded me a bit of Godzilla Final Wars.

Yeah, but it was so much more fun.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Don't worry.

I'm not trying to like degrade that movie.

I'm just saying like, I get some Godzilla Final Wars energies in this.

I can't believe Wesker was dual

Yeah, Japan was not happy about that film.

So much so that in a future movie, Godzilla Final Wars, the last of the Millennium Era of Godzilla, they literally put Zilla in the film and kill him off by just bumping him into the Sydney Opera House and killing him.

Very short sequence.

But yeah, with that said, they have this meeting, and then it kind of cuts away.

One thing I like about Monsterverse, and we see this in this show, and we'll see this in the next movie, they allow Godzilla to just kind of end some fights.

Like, it's like Final Wars up in here, where Godzilla just walks into a fight with a few tines and just ends them immediately.

I mean...

That's how it works.

Then it would be Godzilla's Revenge.

And then if you're really, really on it after that, it would be Final Wars.

And then it would be...

But Final Wars is in its own universe in a way as well.

Because Final Wars brings everything together.

And then it would be Shin Gojira.

So Shin would actually be the end of the Godzilla series if you're watching it chronologically in canon.

Now...

People might not know this.

After Godzilla Final Wars, which was the last Godzilla movie for a while, it was made in 2004.

After that, they demolished the big water tank on the Toho lot, which is where they filmed all those, you know, for years, for generations, where they filmed all those scenes in the South Pacific, you know, where Godzilla would be swimming.

They don't even know how to make suit movies anymore.
