Godric's Hollow

So you do feel very complicated.

You have complicated feelings towards her, particularly when it comes to the Godric's Hollow revelation.

I mean, Harry was very shocked by this, as we'll get into in a moment.

Yeah.

Here's a question.

Mm.

Uh, Harry considers it tantamount to a lie that Dumbledore kept all this info from him, and particularly this stuff about Godric's Hollow, about the fact that Dumbledore himself and his family moved to Godric's Hollow.

Harry has an internal monologue that's like, "When Dumbledore went to visit his parents' grave, like, and his sister's grave, did he walk right past my parents' grave?" Like, Harry's having a full-on crisis, and he considers that Dumbledore lied to him.

Because obviously after he, after the backfiring spell, all you can imagine is that, like, he is reduced to nothing more than vapor.

He certainly doesn't take it with him, so it probably is just left in the wreckage of, um, Godric's Hollow.

So, uh, so Sirius shows up.

Do we know if Sirius is the first person there?

I was like, oh, it's another key to reference.

But anyway, this transfer and these beautiful dual tones and the sort of holiness of that just reminded me of the stained glass window in Godric's Hollow Church, which is the only church that turns up in Harry Potter books.

And it says, you know, there's a pale snow and it's flecked with dazzling red, gold and green of the stained glass as the light comes out of the church and onto the glass.

She wants a really numinous, sacred feeling to this church.

And I'm Brent.

And this is Tales from Godric's Hollow.

Hey everyone, welcome to episode 506 of Tales from Goudrit's Hollow, your one-stop shop for all things magical in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

I am Joe, the Dean of Tales from Goudrit's Hollow, and I'm here with my co-hosts.

Yeah.

It could be, it could be Voldemort and Bellatrix truthfully.

It could be Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw.

Right, Lauren? Don't.

We do briefly see what looks to be Lily and James Potter and something that I'm hoping we get from this series is given the fact that all of the books are now published and You can modify what we know from the beginning.

Are we going to see Godric Hollow and the Potters being killed? It is unknown if Voldemort has been cast.

We did have some recasting.

Kit Harington is in for Gilderoy Lockhart.
