Goatwhore

But so what happened was is that I said, hey, man, let's do a let's do a fly in show to Baltimore.

And so in 2009, October 23rd, 2009, it was like Swarm of the Lotus, Strong Intention, Goat Whore, Pig Destroyer, I Ain't God.

Yeah.

And that was supposed to be it.

So what we did was it was like Thursday in Baltimore, Friday in New York, Saturday in Boston.

And then we did a second show in New York and then Strong Attention did all the shows with them.

I think Goat Whore played all those shows, too.

I know Anal Con played the show in Boston.

Killswedge.

Goat Whore.

What a killer name for a band.

Megadeth, Deep Cuts, Annihilator, Live at Master House.

was a sorely green, that's a sci-fi film.

And also, it was the band Goat Whore when they reformed their name and changed their name.

What a name.

Tango and Cash, great film.

Still friends with him today, man.

Last time I seen Jay, we opened up for Goat Whore out here in town, man.

And, uh...

Fucking Jay was there, and it was great, man.

so strange.

I mean, I really love Goat Whore.

So the guitarist from Acid Bath is the guitarist in Goat Whore.

I think Goat Whore are fucking great.

It was for the vocalist in Goat Whore.

the vocalist in Soylent Green and that is a fucking amazing ensemble all those bands like Cephalic Carnage and kind of the sort of like that kind of relapse that early 2000s relapse kind of got a bit of grindcore and a bit of sort of stoner yeah I really like it yeah it's really interesting and you know Tool just continued to get bigger and bigger and bigger I mean you know I think the last time I saw Tool probably would have been

did they headline

It was good now.

Yeah, see, I'm more of a Goat Whore fan when it comes to Sammy's stuff.

Like, Goat Whore is more my thing.

But, you know, still, Acid Bad puts on one hell of a live show.

Oh, yeah, they were 100%.

In some cases, maybe the person didn't appear on the podcast, but a person from that band did.

That's the case for like Goat Whore and Biohazard and I Hate God.

And knowing what I know now about some of the people that I didn't interview who are on this list, I'm glad it went that way.

But what's interesting and kind of sad is there's some names on the list of people who have passed on, some of which I did manage to get on the podcast before that happened.

[laughs]

And I, I think there was a band supporting them, and I don't know if this was actually the name, but for some reason in my brain it was like Goatwhore.

Goatwhore.

Yeah, no. [laughs]

Yeah.

That's so funny.

It's, uh, like I've never listened to these bands, but I know exactly who you're talking about.

Goatwhore and Eyehategod, yeah.

This is their fourth album on redefining darkness.

And if you dig Skeleton Witch, Goat Whore, or Toxic Holocaust...

You are definitely going to dig the blue.

I
