Goanna

Yeah.

What kind of lizard was it? Like a big, like Goanna?

It was only this long, but it was like a, like it was a Ficky Girthy kind of one.

Ficky girl.

Well, I also happened to spork some tasty critters

Mm, what kind, Goanna?

You know how we lizards love eating witchetty grubs? I nabbed so many of those plump little caterpillars, we'll be feasting on grub kebabs for days

[laughs]

The other animals fell silent.

Kangaroo froze mid-hop.

Emu twisted his long, slender neck into a question mark, and Goanna went stiff, his scaly body pressed against the earth

Um, what's wrong with you guys? Why are you looking at me like I suddenly sprouted an extra proboscis?

I hope you're up for listening, because it's a really good story.

But if skeletons are not your thing, then maybe have a listen to Anansi and the Magic Yams, or The Goanna and the Fairies, or The Ram in the Chili Patch.

I hope you're having a good week, Super Great Kids.

Here in the UK, we're enjoying a rather sunny autumn, with golden sunshine and lots of colorful leaves to crunch through.

So last year we organized a drone light show.

It was about 80 drones and we represented the culture of Lithgow, the Wal-Mart pine and the Goanna and all of that kind of stuff.

So we worked throughout the year to, we collaborated with Portland Central and LaSalle and we coded, designed, advertised it all together and about a thousand people showed up to the actual show.

So yeah, we're doing it again this year, but we're doing it independently and we only have about two or three months to work on it this time.
