high-end pickups in particular.

With the redesigned Sierra, basically you have four Denali or AT4 trims, just two, the base model, and then a second one right above that that aren't in the Denali or AT4 trims.

That's telling you a lot about where GM thinks the market for these trucks is headed.

They're either looking for really luxurious trims, luxurious details.

So you've got the Denali and the Denali Ultimate.

Some of these trucks can get quite pricey.

And then with the AT4 and AT4X, you're really catering toward a lot of these more off-road type of capabilities while still maintaining some of that luxury.

They're trying to do something similar with Buick, leaning into, again, more luxurious uh trims of the avenir but maybe not been quite as successful so far as the denali has been over the past 20 some years as 84 has been over the past six or seven years but again you're really seeing gm leaning into some of these more luxurious trims uh just because they think you know a lot of the their customers are asking for that especially in uh you know some of the pickups and suvs that they sell so yeah i've been talking with mike mcfee the head of buick gmc uh he's indicating They're going to be doubling down on that moving forward.

Like, I'm just gonna kinda go through a, a car that we had this week.

We, uh, uh, Chevy, uh, Yukon, or GMC Yukon Denali.

Beautiful truck, 105,000 miles.

Hasn't hardly had any of the, the, like, the, the s- services.

We put our hands together and says, "I wanna be at this point in my life," and the things that you have today are those things that you're complaining about.

But 18-year-old version of Brad, like, my, my dream truck, still today my dream truck is a GMC Denali.

That's what I drive today, right?

Yeah.

Mm.

So, um, you know, if y- if you're driving a, a Dodge Stratus like I was driving when I was 18, like, be grateful for that.

If you're driving a GMC Denali or a Chevy Corvette or a, or a Maserati, like, be grateful for that.

Um, i- i- great gratitude doesn't kill hunger.

"Having sat in both the High Country and Denali Ultimate, what do you really think of the GMC? Do they actually do a better job than Chevy?" It's a lot different.

The High Country interior looks a lot more high-end.

The Denali Ultimate still is the ultimate.
