They like you to have school, but they also like you to have boots on the ground experience because you can get out of the academy, we have a four-month academy down in Glynco, Georgia, just north of the Florida line, and where almost all federal law enforcement agencies go, with the exception of DEA and FBI.

And the day after you get out of the academy, you can be out on your own with a badge and a gun doing the, doing your thing.

And so, uh, they really like people that have had...

It's called statement analysis.

It's created by a gentleman named Mark McClish who worked at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center over in Glynco, Georgia, called FLETC.

And what Mark McClish and FBI has done is they've looked at words that have specific meaning.

So I'm paying attention to the words here and the tense.

They're going to baseline your scores for shooting and PT and all this other stuff, get you some workouts in.

You're there with your class, and then you'll all go down to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in beautiful Glencoe, Georgia.

You'll do two and a half months, three months there, then head back up to the Raleigh Training Center to finish off.

So, I mean, it's definitely a little over six months of training.

And, uh, when you, uh, when you became an IRS special agent, what kind of training did you have?

Uh, what they do is they send special agents to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia.

And, uh, there I spent eight weeks in criminal investigator training.

Special agent basic training.
