She's a paranormal investigator and the author of books about haunted places in Arizona.

I have written probably like 12 books on haunted things in Arizona and in the Southwest, including the Grand Canyon, Arizona's haunted Route 66, haunted Globe, haunted Phoenix, haunted schools, and haunted Tri-Cities, haunted hotels and restaurants and cemeteries, the whole works.

See what I mean? She's also the director of the MVD Ghost Chasers.

We'll talk more about them later.

So she's probably one of the most famous ghosts.

There's a few that I can't think of the names off the top of my head.

the ghosts up at the Gila County Jail up in Globe.

I would say that is one of the famous ones there.

And my favorite comment comes from a guy named Tommy Cinterol of Globe, Arizona.

This is from a Facebook comment.

Tommy says, Oh my God, game one of an 82 game season.

It's been over about a dozen and a half years at the South Point Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Through the years, it's been from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Reno, Nevada, Rapid City, South Dakota, Globe, Arizona, a number of host tribes.

and venues have provided opportunities for this group of people to come together, not only with the open sport, the open events, but junior events come together and senior events.

So when you go to a rodeo sanctioned by the Indian National Finals Rodeo Program, you'll see the youth, you know, like under 18, the open, the professional ranks, of 18 and over, and then the senior ranks.

Don Lee, the son of Thornton Lee, one-time great left-hand pitcher for the Chicago White Sox, is coming on.

Donald Edward Lee, born in Globe, Arizona back in 1934, six feet four inches tall, 200 pounds.

He was drafted by the Senators from the Milwaukee organization.

He was an All-America at the University of Arizona, and received a big bonus by the Detroit Tigers on the recommendation of Marve Owen, a one-time, uh, third baseman for the Tigers.

Young Don Lee was born in Arizona.

In Globe, Arizona, as a matter of fact.

But it's Apache and then J-I-I.

And that's like indigenous entertainment, culture, food, crafts, all that fun stuff that's going to be happening in Globe.

It's, I believe, like their 43rd annual time they're hosting this.

And that is Saturday, October 17th at Harrison Field.

So that's going on.

Going to be a bunch of that fun stuff and a bunch of Halloween and all that going on on like the 24th and the 31st as well down here.

So if anyone's looking for something to do, there's a bunch of fun stuff in Globe in Miami.

So he would have known about these retrieval operations.

All right, so Papagos Indian Reservation, west of Globe, Arizona, January 1947.

So we're already three and four in now, Richard.

We haven't even made it to Roswell yet.

Is, is this a federal crime according to the government? They're gonna try it, not the, um, Apache reservation?

Yes, it was, the trial was held at the federal courthouse in Globe, Arizona, which is about 75 miles south of the reservation.

Now, what were the teams like involved with this, as far as competency? You know, does the reservation manage to get him a, a good attorney as a defense attorney?

The, um, procedures were a little different then.

In fact, as Silas John himself commented, um, there is no such tradition among Apaches.

However, it's a longstanding tradition among people who want to blame other people for crimes that they didn't do.

However, the, the jury, an all-white jury in this town of Globe, and made up of people from neighboring towns, too, uh, was not familiar with Apache traditions, and accepted, apparently accepted this argument, that that's why the rock was there and that's why it had Silas John's initials on it.

Silas John took the stand in his own defense and said, "W- why would I be here, trying to maintain my own innocence if I had left my name right there at the scene of the crime?" Uh, the other piece of evidence that seemed to work against Silas John was something else I found in the files at the US National Archives, and these were love letters that Silas John had written the previous year to, uh, the young woman, Belle James, that he was involved with.
