Global plastic pollution treaty

I will say this.

You have probably observed the developments of the Global Plastics Treaty.

Yes.

Through the UN.

So during the early days of the pandemic, one of the more thoughtful progressive activities by the UN Environment General Assembly was was to commit to a global plastics treaty that took the entire life cycle of plastics into account.

So waste, don't get me wrong.

I want to say something.

But let's focus on the human health, which seems to get people's attention.

We can just adapt it for our place with our own community needs.

or look at all these thousands of people that are going to negotiate on the Plastics Treaty, like they're all showing up for this next phase of this agreement and we can support them in this way.

And so to really show that there are leaders and that we need more people to come in and support, because I think that I hear, especially from young, early career environmentalists, like I don't have the expertize to participate in the solutions, but there are leaders And we can support them as we still learn and navigate how to best show up.

And there's like all these different roles.
